“Old Betsy” – 1928 Seagrave

The 1928 Seagrave Pumper was fully restored in 2018 by Pfahl’s Mack & Antique Truck Restoration in Bethlehem, CT.

This antique vehicle is a significant part of the department’s history and is often featured in local parades and at fire apparatus shows, frequently winning awards for Best Antique.

Engine 165 – 2024 Seagrave Marauder

The newest rig in the fleet, the 2024 Seagrave officially joined the team in May of 2025.

The engine features a 2,000 gpm Waterous pump, a 750-gallon UPF tank, a Cummins L9 450-hp engine, an Allison 3000 transmission, a hydraulic ladder rack, PAC tool boards, and custom gold leaf graphics.

With an overall length of 32 feet 3 inches and a 193.50-inch wheelbase, it is perfect for protecting Ardsley and the surrounding communities.

Engine 164 – 2015 Spartan ERV Gladiator

Reliable Pumper Engine 164 has been serving the community since 2016. This Spartan Gladiator chassis features:

– Pro Poly 750 Gallon Tank
– Class A/ 30 Gallon Foam
– Harrison 15.0kw Generator
– TNT Central Hydraulic System
– Hurst Extrication Equipment and single-core reels
– Command Remote Control Light Tower

Ladder 50 – 2010 Spartan Gladiator 6×4 / Smeal

Ardsley’s Ladder has a Smeal 105-foot aerial built on a Spartan Gladiator chassis powered by a 525-hp Caterpillar C-13 engine. Features include a 2,000-gpm Hale Qmax pump, 450-gallon UPF poly tank, Akron monitor, and Robinson roll-up doors.
