130th Ardsley fire Department Installation
The Ardsley Volunteer Fire Department recently reached a remarkable milestone, celebrating its 130th Installation of Officers. For over thirteen decades, this department has stood as a cornerstone of the community, defined by a legacy of selfless service and an unwavering commitment to public safety. This anniversary is not just a reflection of the years passed, but a tribute to the generations of volunteers who have dedicated their lives to protecting their neighbors and upholding the values of bravery and professionalism that the department is known for.
This year’s ceremony marks an exciting new chapter as Brendan Lindsay is welcomed as the new Chief in charge. A longtime member whose dedication to the village is well-known, Chief Lindsay brings years of experience and deep-rooted passion to his new leadership role. He is joined by First Assistant Chief Joan Knoesel and Second Assistant Chief TJ Knoesel. Together, this leadership group embodies the spirit of the Ardsley Fire Department, ensuring that the community remains in capable hands as it continues its proud tradition of service into the future.
